Rob McMaster
President
In 1990, Rob had a vision... He wanted to create a pest control company like none other. He founded Halt Pest Control, Inc. with the idea of helping people solve their pest problems with a solution that would fit their unique environment, rather than delivering a single service and never seeing that person again. He and the Halt team have been doing just that ever since. Rob loves connecting with people and the challenges of leading a team and growing the business. He particularly enjoys watching the people on the Halt team grow into the Halt way of serving customers, learning from each other and expanding their professional skills.

Back in the late 80s Rob and his wife were in search of a great place to raise a family. That's when they came to the Portland area (from that state just south of Oregon) and have loved it here ever since. Rob's interests cover a lot of areas. He enjoys the outdoors and is an avid fisherman and hunter and he also enjoys traveling and spending time in the garden. He and his wife also spend a lot of time with their two daughters and their horses. Rob holds two Bachelor's Degrees from the University of the Pacific.

Tony Kennedy White
Office Manager
For 10 years now Tony has been bending over backwards to help our staff and our customers find the peace of mind that comes from knowing things are being taken care of. Good thing she's a certified yoga instructor! A native of Spokane, Washington, Tony has been in the Portland area for 20 years. She loves meeting and talking with new people and helping them solve problems. You'll pick that up pretty fast when you give us a call. Tony's also quite a musician - she plays both piano and guitar and is the canary of the Halt team. In 2006 she even performed in Carnegie Hall! Tony and her husband also enjoy spending time with their three kids, aged 16, 20 and 21.

Brian Freeman
Pest Management Technician
If you’ve ever seen a kid turning over rocks or old logs to look at bugs you’ve got a pretty good idea of what Brain was like as a kid. Throughout his life he’s been fascinated with insects which led to his joining the pest control industry in 2004, as well as his pursuit of a degree in entomology. Brian comes to Halt with a strong commitment to help people find solutions to their pest problems. With his knowledge of pests, he’s able to quickly offer customers the best options for taking care of them. Brain is licensed in Washington and Oregon in General Pest Management and Wood Destroying Organisms. A native of Maine, Brain enjoys hunting, fishing and outdoor sports, and he’s particularly proud of his daughter who recently graduated from interior design school and resides on the east coast.

David Frost
Pest Management Technician
David brings over 16 years experience in the pest control industry. Throughout nearly nine years with Halt, David's really enjoyed the family atmosphere and team environment and the opportunities he's had to help customers solve their pest problems. For him the greatest reward in working with customers is to see the satisfaction on their faces when they know their problems have been solved. David holds a Purdue University certification in Urban and Industrial Integrated Pest Management. Raised in Florida, David spent most of his adult life in New York City. He moved to Portland in 1998 to be closer to his son's family and 8 grandchildren. If keeping up with all those grandkids isn't enough, David and his wife are active in their church where they teach an adult bible class.

Kevin Grayson
Pest Management Technician
For more than six years Kevin has been bringing his people-centered approach to solving customers' pest problems. He works hard at helping as many people as he can each day. No doubt that's why he works out on a regular basis - it takes a lot of energy to keep so many customers happy. Kevin is a native of the Pacific Northwest, is a martial arts enthusiast and he and his wife also keep fit running after their two daughters and Maverick, the dog.

John McGovern
Pest Management Technician
One day, more than ten years ago, John took a summer job with a pest control company. He fell in love with the job and helping people solve their pest problems and has never looked back. John is the consummate pest control professional, holding multiple certifications in three states, including Oregon and Washington: General Pest Control, Wood Destroying Pests, Mosquito Control, and Bed Bug Control. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, John brought his family to the Pacific Northwest looking for a better environment to raise his family in – after all, the odds of it snowing in April are pretty low. He enjoys bowling, movies and sports, and he and his wife of 16 years share 3 wonderful children.
